"First printing, April 1988" on its copyright page, so this is the paperback original first edition of Lois McMaster Bujold's Nebula winning novel "Falling Free", and it has been boldly flat signed (no inscription) by Bujold on its title page. The book is in very good condition. Binding is sound, with slight spine lean, and a shallow reading crease in its spine. The covers are unfaded and unmarked, with traces of wear on edges, and a former owner label inside the front cover. Other than Bujold's signature, the pages are unmarked. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description. NOTE: I am also currently offering on ABEBOOKS a Baen/SFBC first hardcover edition of "Falling Free" (near fine book in a very good dust jacket), for US$30.00. All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order.
