From the library of William "Bill" Styron. Forbes, a man of many talents, was an acclaimed film director, evidenced by projects like The Stepford Wives, King Rat, and The L-Shaped Room; he was also an accomplished screenwriter who later became Managing Director of EMI Films, as well as a novelist. This novel, his third, is an unconventional spy novel, about fine in a very nearly fine dw with a touch of wear to the extremities, and is warmly INSCRIBED "Dear Bill." on the title page, and SIGNED a second time on the opposite page listing his previous titles.
