Signed, dated and dedicated to the previous owner with a personalized message by the author in black ink directly to front end-paper. Index. Printed in Great Britain by Richard Clay and Sons Ltd. The name at the tail of the spine states Talbot Press. Green boards with darker (used to be gilt?) lettering to spine are only good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy fading/browning (including to spine), a few small marks, few small scratches, the odd small bump to edges, little patchy rubbing to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight (slightly pulled towards the middle of the book - however the book is not in danger of falling apart). End-papers tanned. Pages bit tanned. One small patch of loss to lower corner of back end-paper. Bookseller's small sticker (Greene & Co, Dublin) inside front board. Odd small marks/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Small crease to a few pages. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults.
