8vo. Bound in pictorial paper covered boards. Unpaginated. [28pp]. Signed by artist, Edward Ardizzone in ink on front end paper, below is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. Illustrated in colour throughout. Dust jacket is not clipped but does have five small tears, the largest is 1cm, with minor creases and slightly foxed. The cover is in excellent condition with some minor foxing on end papers. A very good almost fine copy. Sebastian helps a lady mail a letter to her son in England, but what he has to go through in order to do it! The Good Samaritan had nothing on him! Size 21.5 x 16 cms (8.5 x 6.5 inches) Andrew Murray, Director of Mayor Gallery, Cork Street, London. The Mayor Gallery exhibited Ardizzone s work in the 1960 s .
