First printing, one of only 105 copies of this attractive work of concrete poetry. A presentation copy, inscribed by the author to Steve Richmond a significant figure in the mimeo revolution, and who levy published in Marrahwanah Quarterly. A friend of Charles Bukowski s and a member of the "Meat School," he was most known for his gagaku poems, based on the rhythms of the Japanese classical music of the same name. Among levy s earliest explorations in concrete poetry, this book was one of the "obscene" volumes that Ed Sanders was charged with distributing in the notorious police raid on the Peace Eye Bookstore. Very rare. Taylor & Horvath P-40. First edition. Letterpress. Saddle-stapled wraps, with cover by levy. [15] pp. 6 1/2 x 6 in. Inscribed on the title-page. Last page laid down on verso of wrapper. Good; toned and lightly foxed, open and closed tear to the first leaf at head, dampstaining to the first and last leaves, last leaf detached from staples.
