This is the program that accompanied Beverly Sills farewell performance in 1980. AND being sold with a hand SIGNED letter (size: 8x11in) from her dated 1986; top of letter with letter head of N.Y. City Opera when she was General Director there; it is a typed letter thanking an individual for a contribution, in ink she signed it: "LOVE, BEVERLY". The farewell program: "From First Note to Last" 1980; 72 pages, size: 8-1/2x11inches; numerous colored and b&w photos of her performances (many are full page), a listing of roles performed, and a discography; the last page has a hand written note that Beverly Sills and Sherill Miles sang a duet from DESERT SONG; the program is tight but has invisible moisture damage thru out, but not distracting from the photos or text. ALSO a small drawing of heart where she signed it inside; The drawing, folded letter, magazine are in GOOD COND. Seller Inventory # 5477
