210p text in French. The book is in near fine condition, tight and clean in a Fine Signed Mudie binding in full marbled red calf all edges bright gilt with gilt strips to pastedowns.Titling on front board and spine with raised bands. Endpapers marbled.There is a signed presumed gift inscription to ?Annee Desclee on the fore title signed by Sardou. There is a monogrammed piece dated 1874 for the initials AD at the top outside edge of the title page .There is rubbing at the extremities of the spine but otherwise in fine condition.See scans.
