Octavo, original half cloth. Association copy, inscribed by the author in the year of publication on the half-title page, "Seligardi Enzo Ferrari 12/79." The recipient, Deo Seligardi, was one of the "old guard" mechanics associated with the Ferrari race team. In very good condition with some toning to the extremities. An exceptional association. Enzo Ferrari was an Italian motor racing driver and entrepreneur, the founder of the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix motor racing team, and subsequently of the Ferrari automobile marque. He was widely known as "il Commendatore" or "il Drake". In his final years he was often referred to as "l'Ingegnere" or "il Grande Vecchio (the Great Old Man)".
