Hardback bound in tan paper-covered boards with illustration on the cover and brown title on the spine. Book has a tiny bump at lower spine as only defect noted. Dust jacket has edge wear with small edge tears with a larger tear along bottom gutter (now protected in archival jacket cover). Book is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the title page (no inscription). This author's first children's book. Black & white illustrations by Bob Sibley. 158 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7� - 9�" tall.
