First Edition, SIGNED by author. Light green cloth boards with pictoral cover in black with black lettering on cover and spine. Spots of wear-through to spine corners, board tips. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Decorated endpapers; small scrape at top edge of front free and fixed endpaper (size of half a penny). Neatly penned previous owner name at top edge of half-title page. Signed by author: "Edouard A. Stackpole" on the title page. Illustrated by Henry C. Pitz. 307 pages.
