Condition Very Good: Original card binding shows mild general wear, with slight bumping to corners and edges. Spine remains bright and intact. A tape mark is present to the rear cover, with a few faint marks elsewhere across the panels. Now protected in a plastic sleeve. Binding tight and square. Internally, some pages show minor creasing to the upper corners, but are otherwise clean and bright. Black-and-white photographs remain in excellent condition. A well-preserved and highly presentable copy. Description First edition, issued in New Guinea in 1942, and signed by the author.
