It includes the manuscript "Gold on the Florida Coast: Let's Get the Record Straight" by Captain Steadman Parker. The rare manuscript is reproduced in its entirety and tells how Parker first got Wagner interested in the coins that had been washing ashore along the coast. Parker's version of events is a truly unique perspective. The book also chronicles the early archaeological work conducted by Charles Dana Higgs and Hale Smith. The 1909 expedition to the Wedge Wreck, Joe Conway's 1939 cannon recovery, "Operation Vero Beach" an expedition led by Art McKee in 1955, the amazing work performed in the area by Don Neiman along with many other never before published tales.
