We take considerable care in packing books but any item may be returned at our expense if damaged in transit or not as described, although kindly contact us first.

Shipping Terms

All hardbacks have an archival quality jacket protector where appropriate and are packed with bubblewrap and a cardboard bookwrap/box.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required, although this is usually noted within the item description. Postage will be reduced on processing for light items which can be sent via large letter rate.

UK orders wil generally be sent via Royal Mail 48. Heavier books and sets may be sent via courier.

For overseas orders: Economy shipping is cheaper, reliable but will inevitably take longer than Priority mail. Economy Mail is frequently upgraded to Airmail by the Royal Mail, but this should not be assumed and may proceed via surface mail/ship and so take longer.

Postage will be reduced on processing for light items which can be sent via large letter rate and in most cases of multiple-book orders.

Uninsured items are sent at the purchaser's risk. UK items will have automatic tracking with confirmation of delivery. At present there is no tracking as standard on international mail from the UK sent via the Post Office. If you require a tracked/signed for service kindly let us know. This is generally �5 extra to the Priority Mail cost and will be added to the shipping cost.
