First edition. Single stiff sheet intended to be folded into a card with illustration by Arnold Roth. As new (our copy is unfolded). Issued ".for the private distribution of the author, the artist, and the publisher." Although not stated, according to the De Bellis and Broomfield bibliography of Updike: "The publisher advised that 250 copies were printed of which 200 were unsigned and 50 were signed by the author . and illustrator. for sale by the publisher." (There was also a separate broadside issue of 38 copies). This is one of 50 copies of the card Signed by both Updike and Roth. In any event, very uncommon, and seldom offered for sale.
