First edition. Black cloth boards with gilt spine lettering. Inscribed on ffep by former owner, folklorist Joseph Hickerson. -- Very Good condition. Covers lightly rubbed/dulled around edges, mostly on front cover -- almost invisible head-on, only seen at an angle to lighting. Page block edges starting to fox a little. Interior starting to tan. Dust jacket Very Good Minus, protected in clear plastic -- some edgewear, small hardly noticeable tears in edges here and there (made less visible by protective plastic) -- spine a bit darkened, edges faintly darkening -- pretty clean and bright otherwise, fairly tight-looking in plastic, but with chips out of head of spine. 389 pp. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

We're situated beside the stone wall just off U.S. Route 2 at the blinking light. Awaiting you are over 50,000 books, in all subject areas, conveniently located on one floor of a hundred year-old country house. We also stock old postcards and other paper ephemera. Our specialties include Folklore, Folk music and books on bells & carillons. We issue occasional catalogs in these areas, however most of our specialty stock are now cataloged on the internet. We are open year round, seven days a week, 10:00-5:00. We close on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Being a small business we are subject to the usual problems - weather, family obligations etc.- therefore, we suggest you call if you are traveling a great distance to visit us.
