First edition ("H-B"). Octavo. Title vignette, b/w decorations and color jacket illustration by Robert Amick. Dust jacket (unclipped; few chips; short tears; a few pages with staining). Very good. No other signatures or bookplates. Signed and inscribed by Zane Grey to friends Phillips Carlin and Claire Wilhelm Carlin on front endpaper in is signature purple ink: "To Phil and Claire from an old friend, Zane Grey."
