A near fine copy, signed by Sir Wilfrid Grenfell twice on the front end paper; once signed with "Best Wishes and signed again under the sketch with the inscription, The doctor in a hurry". Refer to the images. The book does not have a dust jacket. It is in near fine to fine condition with the first few pages of the book having a bump to the top corner (not a fold). Typical edge wear for a book of this age In very pleasing and collectible condition. First printing by Houghton Mifflin. Previous owner's signature also on the inside front cover.
