"David Hogan" is the pseudonym of Frank B. Gallagher (1893-1962), He was an anti-Treaty Irish republican, a compatriot of Eamon de Valera. He wrote many articles and stories for periodicals. Here is his narrative of the Irish War for Independence. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition [stated "First Published - - 1953"]. Blue cloth binding with titling in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 404 pages. Indexed. This copy has been SIGNED by the author on the Title Page. Rubbed around the margins; gilt on spine rubbed but readable.
