First edition, one of 1000 of the first volume and 1250 of the second. Illustrated. xxii, 113; [xii], 135 pp. 2 vols. 8vo. Lavishly produced set of volumes designed by P.J. Conkright documenting the residence of Donald and Mary Hyde, and the library, including the Johnson collection (now at Harvard). Herbert Cahoon, long-time curator of manuscripts at the Morgan library and bibliographer of Joyce, contributed a bibliography to Four Oaks Library. Inscribed by Mary Hyde (now Eccles) to Hal Friedlander in 1994. Original black cloth-backed brown paper boards. Fine in fine marbled slipcase Illustrated. xxii, 113; [xii], 135 pp. 2 vols. 8vo First edition, one of 1000 of the first volume and 1250 of the second.
