You are not going to believe me, nobody in their right minds could possibly believe me, but it's true, really it is! When I woke up this morning, I found I'd turned into my mother.

Stated First Edition. Includes a handwritten letter from the author.

Dust jacket has two 1-inch tears, multiple nicks, a few chips, mild edge wear, and some mild toning on the spine. Bottom corner is clipped. Top corner shows price of $3.95. Jacket is in a new protective Brodart cover.

Boards are in good to very good condition with some rubbing on the spine ends and bottom board edges. Two board corners are gently bumped. Spine is tight and square. Pages are clean. No writing inside, but there is a strip of brown tape residue on the first free end page that correlates to the letter. No funky odors.

The letter is on personal stationery from Mrs. Henry Guettel (Mary Rodger's husband was Henry Guettel), and reads:

Dear Betty --

You couldn't have loved Freaky Friday as much as I. I loved your letter about it! I'm flattered that you even bought it in the first place but absolutely delighted that you liked it. At this point, Im just praying that my next book (which is now in that agonizing beginning stage) will turn out as well. I'm off to California for a week, but do hope we all can get together sometime this spring.
