Ownership Signature Of William Goyen, With His Emphasis Marks In Text And Many Slips Of Loose Paper With His Notes And Additions; Also With A Photograph By Mildred Tolbert Of A Painting, Annotated On Back "Kiowa Ranch Panorama With Frieda, Brett + Lawrence On Horseback. Hung In The Kitchen Of The Big House At The Ranch, All Three Painted On The Picture, It Was A Group Effort Frieda Told Me." Goyen Was Given Land By Frieda Lawrence Circa 1948 On Her Ranch, On Which He Built A House, And Was One Of Just A Few People Present At Her Death. He Had A Great Interest In D. H. And Frieda Lawrence, And Had Several Shelves Of Books About Them.
