A presentation copy, inscribed to Richard Watson Gilder: "Mr. R. W. Gilder, with grateful acknowledgment, Alice Jennings," on the front free endpaper; with a three-page letter from Jennings to Gilder discussing the volume, docketed by Gilder; Gilder's poem, "After-Song," appears on page 29.
