About this Item
Quarter bound in white cloth over grey boards which are rubbed and bumped at the extremities. The grey boards have the gilt name of George Jay Gould. The front hinge is cracked but otherwise the contents are very good. From the collection of noted collector John Stuart Groves with his leather bookplate affixed. This copy with a full page inscription about 30 lines from the author to Groves written from his house in Hartford, Wisconsin.
