First edition. One of 1,250 SIGNED copies. Signed by both the former President and the compiler and principal photographer, David Valdez. Large book, measuring approximately 11 x 11". Includes color and black-and-white photographs from his birth in 1924 until he left office in 1993. Dark-blue cloth in matching slipcase with Presidential seal. Nice production. Fine.

The Quill & Brush was established in 1976 by Allen and Patricia Ahearn as an open store carrying first editions and fine art. At present it is by appointment only and housed in the home of the Ahearn's eldest daughter, Beth Ahearn Fisher, who is carrying on the family bookselling tradition. Our current stock of approximately 3,500 books consists mainly of first editions of American and English Literature including Mysteries and Detective Stories, Science Fiction, Children's and Illustrated Books. We also collectible books in all fields. Over the years, we have published more than 200 individual Author Price Guides; and Allen and Patricia authored the well-regarded books on book collecting, "Collected Books: The Guide to Identification and Values" (4th ed., 2011) and "Book Collecting 2000: A Comprehensive Guide."
