4to., [10] pp., plus 41 b&w and color images from photographs, and [2] pp. checklist. Pictorial stiff wrappers. A near fine copy. Additional related materials laid-in. SIGNED, dated and inscribed by the photographer. Hungarian born painter, photographer, designer and educator who joined the studio of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy in London. He emigrated to Chicago in 1937 to join Moholy-Nagy at the New Bauhaus where he taught design and helped to form the curriculum. He founded the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at M.I.T. in 1967 and retired from there in 1974. Produced in conjunction with an exhibition, June 1 to July 8, 1984. Seller Inventory # 51672
