First edition. Hardcover. 124 pages. A collection of Christian Morgenstern's poems translated from the German by W.D. Snodgrass and Lore Segal. Includes illustrations by Paul Klee. A fine copy in a close to near fine dust jacket with some minor wear and a few small tears. Signed and inscribed by Snodgrass on the dedication page: "for Peter with much gratitude and all good wishes (the first signed copy!) De Snodgrass." Uncommon signed.
