Signed on title page by author Jonathan Williams, artist and subject Vernon Burwell, and cover art photographer Roger Manley. Published on the occasion of the Annie Hooper Exhibition and Visionary Folk Art Symposium at North Carolina State University, April 23, 1988. Limited edition of 1000 copies, of which 50 are signed by Williams, Manley, and Burwell. This copy is #23, and is also signed by the book's designer Jonathan Greene.
