George London Letter (Signed/Autographed)

Handwritten letter, signed by George London. Letter is on unique stationary that is more like two cards. Comes in original envelope. From the estate of James A. Van Sant, 1931-2023. Van Sant was raised in central Missouri in a family with close ties to the Trumans, Harry, Bess, and Margaret.  He was a graduate of Trinity College, Hartford, Washington University, with further education at University of London and Harvard. He became president and CEO of General Steel Industries of St Louis, was a founder of Opera Theater of St Louis and was well connected in the field of the arts, politics and industry. He had extensive correspondence with various persons of note in these fields.
