About this Item
9 1/2 X 12". Cream color paper folio cover with title in black. Title page, 2 page introduction, contents page, and 16 prints in B&W with titles at the bottom. Signed presentation by the artist dated 1966 on the title page. Some light soiling on edges of cover but interior plates are clean. Polish by birth the artist lived and worked in Paris from 1925 to 1939 where he gained wide recognition. In 1939 he returned to Poland and joined the Resistance forces. He created this art after his return to Paris in 1946: they are published in this folio for the first time. Seller Inventory # 1672
