Octavo (22cm); publisher's dark brown cloth in typographic dust jacket with 30s net price intact; 567,[1]pp. Jacket shows a short closed tear at bottom rear and another along top corner fold, with shallow chips at a couple fold ends and some general toning / smudging to surface and down spine. Boards square, with a small blended inkstain to rear along spine and a touch of fading along edges. Light toning to endpapers and half title. Binding sound and pages unmarked. Signed by the author without inscription on full title.
