First edition 5th printing stated of a near fine hardcover with shelf wear to the bottom of the spine, in a very good dustjacket with wear to the extremities, a bit of loss at the top of the spine, and a closed tear on the front cover. The definitive (at the time) instructional book to lower your golf handicap by Joe Novak who at the time as the past president of the P.G.A. and head club professional at the Bel-Air Country Club in California. This copy is inscribed, dated and signed by the author on the ffep in 1954 at the Bel-Air C.C.
