Add to basketThis is the author's own well-used copy. Written on the front cover: "My last copy. Please return. J. D. D." From the estate of the author John Duncan Dunn, copy of letter of provenance from Dunn's great-granddaughter included. Illustrated with line drawings and photographs. 40 pages. Scarce wartime instructional booklet, the author's eighth and final book, published 25 years after Dunn's first book A.B.C. of Golf (1916). The introductory two-page biography of John Duncan Dunn by editor Neil Whitney is followed by a page on Babe Didrickson Zaharias who took lessons from Dunn. Another page profiles Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen claiming them to be the greatest Amateur and the greatest Professional Golfers. "For this reason their pictures are mostly shown in this book." Other drawing-illustrated champions include Harry Vardon, Joyce Wethered, Johnnie Ball, and Helen Hicks. An interesting booklet of straightforward instruction, which shows that the swing has basically not changed over decades. Price of 25 cents on cover. Front cover rubbed, rear cover with penciling, staples oxidized, contents clean, covers protected in mylar. Not in Murdoch, D#15510, D&J#D21040. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
