Light tan foxing throughout, tissue guard toned not affecting the frontispiece. INSCRIBED, BELOW THE FRONTISPIECE PHOTOGRAPH OF 'ERNEST JONES BEFORE THE WAR,' IN CLEAR FOUNTAIN PEN INK IS, "YOURS FAITHFULLY, (signed) ERNEST JONES." Scarce signature, especially on one of his student's publication advocating Jones' instruction system. Covers protected in mylar, housed in a custom slipcase. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
