150 B&W plates with accompanying text. Of the First Edition, 850 copies are printed on rag paper and specially bound and signed by all three authors. This is Copy Number 754. Black cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and embossed green cloth covering the boards. The jacket is plain olive green paper with darker green lettering and decoration on the spine. No slipcase. Very light edge wear; the jacket is darkened on the spine with some minor edge wear. Binding tight, text clean. Size: 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. 150 full-page photographs, with facing descriptions, concerning angling and shooting. A family memoir of hunting & fishing together with a finger on a camera trigger in the wilds of America at the end of World War II. Ray Holland Sr. was editor of Field & Stream and was a prolific outdoor writer. His major works are considered classics in the field.
