This is a clean and tight copy with some sun fading to the spine, the previous owner's bookplate and a tape-repaired rear flyleaf, a book from the first printing of the first edition of this Pulitzer Prize-winning play depicting the religious life of a group of Southern African-Americans. This copy was signed and dated by the playwright in 1955. Please see my attached photos of this book.
