About this Item

First edition/first impression of this Quentin Blake adventure story for children, SIGNED by Quentin Blake on the title page. Hardback book, laminated pictorial covers with Quentin Blake illustrations, size: 23 x 32cm, colour illustrations, some double page. There is a very small indentation on the front cover (adjacent to the illustrated mast of the Green Ship). The inner pages show some waving, compatible with former storage in a cold area at one time. There is a small surface abrasion to a page in the final section of the book - as if the page had been stuck to its neighbour, then separated (see photograph). Overall though this book (uncommon: signed by Blake) is in VG condition.
