Stated "First published 1964". Signed by the author on the title page and dated "Oct '64" which places the signature in the same year as publication. Rear flap of jacket waterstained, chipped and torn along edges. Slightly cocked. A fictionalised account of Crump's adventures crocodile shooting in Northern Territory. "I've written Gulf around what I learned when I was a professional croc-shooter in North Queensland, The Northern Territory, and on Cape York Peninsula. The story's largely fictional; but the details about crocs and country are pretty right.".
