About this Item
Very Good over all; library markings show it belonged to a business or club library, as indicated by the stamp "Kindly return to the book dept." on the first free page and a few others; other library markings restricted to front pastedown, first free page, and a faint shadow of a sticker on the lower spine; fore corners well bumped and a little frayed; a few scuffs and faint stains to cloth; else Fine. Hinges sound, spine straight and well rounded, pages (aside from a little tanning to edges and the occasional "Kindly return" stamp) are clean and bright. All 12 color plates and printed tissue guards are present and in perfect condition, as are all 12 pencil plates. 11x9 inches, 202 pp; bound in brown buckram with gilt lettering; deckle fore and bottom edges. The entire dust jacket is neatly folded and pasted to the rear pastedown. First, Limited Edition. On limitation page: "This large paper edition is limited to 175 copies. This copy is No. ", but no number is filled in. Below are the signatures of the author and the artist. This is an out-of-series copy, but probably not a review copy, which would not be signed.
