Excellent condition Oct. 1938 second printing (same month as first printing), signed by the author on the title page. Binding is still tight and pages are still clean and bright. Page edges are lightly dust-dulled and end pages are a little foxed. Previous price details on an opening page are only markings. Blue covers are shelf worn on the spine but otherwise fine and lettering is bright. Dust jacket is in good condition for age; Mostly only a little shelf and edge worn but has a chip at the bottom of the spine the top corners are a little worn. Unclipped. Wrapped in protective plastic removable cover.

If you require your purchased item to be shipped outside the UK, please contact me first so that I can give you an estimate. Please specify whether you would like to opt for a signed-for or recorded delivery service (I am sorry but I will refuse to ship to some countries unless you opt for a recorded delivery service). Books will be wrapped in bubble wrap, then packaged in corrugated cardboard with a wide lip all around to protect them from the vagaries of the postal service. This way, they should arrive at your door in the best possible condition.
