104p. INSCRIBED BY THE POET. A hardcover book bound in 3/4 black leather with green paper boards. Very good condition. Edges rubbed and a bit faded, and patchy tanning on pages 74-75. Otherwise clean and tight. A very scarce collection of poetry by a vice-president of the University of Notre Dame. Carroll inscribed this copy on a blank front endpaper to Mrs. William L. Benitz, whose husband taught mathematics at Notre Dame and whose father taught law at Notre Dame as well. In addition, there is a tipped-in note from Tom A. Daly to Fr. Carroll; Daly was a fellow poet based in Philadelphia. Seller Inventory # 181062
