Signed by Author; 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall; 408 pp; True First Edition. From the private library of Kentucky State Historian, J. Winston Coleman, with his bookplate and stamp on endpapers. Author signed presentation to Coleman. Book has very occassional margin notes and underlining with slight corner/tip wear, bound in blue fabric with bright gilt. Bound in the original issue blue boards (a facsimile reprint was done much later in red boards. ).
