Just a year later the distinguished historian Hugh Trevor-Roper lost his reputation completely by authenticating what turned out to be a fake set of the Furher's diaries. A presentation copy, signed and inscribed by the author to an associate the front endpaper. A VG copy, uniformly tanned, pushed at the spine tips.
