First edition (as stated upon copyright page) INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. [12], 244 pages. Hardcover: H 26.25cm x L 19.5cm. Dust jacket well rubbed with edge scuffs; several short tears plus 4cm tear at front panel's top right with verso tape repair; small subtle ink blemish at front panel's upper right; front flap is not price-clipped. Light green cloth with bright gilt stamped lettering to spine and front board. Artist's sign-line inscription "Howard Finster. To Bruce" on title page; slight soiling occurs near fore-edge margins of interior pages. Binding is firm. Laid-in is a brochure for Reverend Howard Finster's Wednesday, October 24, 2001 funeral service held by Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home in Summerville, Georgia.
