Signed by the author and dated 1928 in ink - and has blue embossed personal bookmark label displaying coat of arms and Sir Herbert George Fordham Knight of Odsey on reverse side of front cover. Some slight erasure marks of penciled library notes - otherwise no other signatures discovered - one note relating to the date of death of Sir Henry Trueman Wright Wood in author's handwriting next to index of authors at rear of book. Quarter leather bound with green cloth hard boards and gold gilt titled spine with date 1928 at foot. Original boards. Some slight edge wear and rubbed rounded corners.
