Signed on 28 May 2018 at the Hay-on-Wye Literature Festival. We include the original event ticket as provenance. Condition: a near fine book for the harshest of judges in a fine dust jacket. Some usual browning/ ageing to the paper commensurate with age. No previous owners inscriptions. Shortlisted for the Booker Prize; winner of the Arthur C. Clarke Award. Adapted as a movie in 1990, and once more as a TV-series starring Elisabeth Moss which won multiple Emmy Awards. An iconic book and the Handmaid s robe used in the global women s rights movement.
