Set of Two (2) Signed First Editions. The first woman to run for president from a major party. A President Hillary Clinton would have been the first woman to hold the office and the first husband and then wife to have been President of the United States. Each volume Signed by author Hillary Clinton (Hillary) or Bill Clinton, (Bill Clinton) directly to title page. No inscriptions. Seller personally met Hillary Clinton to obtain her signature. and when saying to her, "Hillary, you are a winner".she, very surprised, replied, " Well, thank you so much, Sir". That did not actually come to be, even though she won the popular vote by 2.5 million votes. My Life is a True First State copy: has the typo in last sentence of the 'Acknowledgements' section, page iv: "for the failure of my life" rather than failures. Stated: First Edition. Both Dust Jackets are not price clipped and are Brodart protected. Cloth. My Life is dark blue; embossed front board; gilt titling on spine. Unmarked. Hard Choices is three-quarter binding with oatmeal and black with gilt spine titling. Both volumes are as new, signed (directly to title page without inscription) and are rare pieces of history. Orders shipped to a California address are required to pay 8.5% CA Sales Tax on
total amount (excluding shipping fees). We guarantee your complete satisfaction.
All books are returnable for any reason provided we are notified within 10 days
of receipt. Items are available on first ordered/paid basis. Please include your
e-mail and shipping address. We attempt to list any flaws and describe accurately
and are conservative with our descriptions; we usually only state 'Very Good'
condition when in fact most dealers would use 'Fine'. Full refund of your
purchase price if not totally pleased with your purchase if you notify us by e-
mail and the item is mailed/returned within 10 days of receipt. (We are pleased
to say that it is highly unusual for us to have a book returned.) Buyer is
responsible for return postage and item must be received in same condition as
when shipped; however, if item is not described properly or there is any error
on our part we will be happy to pay return postage. Payment through ABE via
secure credit card processing. We also accept PayPal and U.S. bank checks.
Institutions will receive billing arrangements commensurate with their
requirements. We ship within 3 days of receipt of payment; however, if paid by
check it may require clearance by bank before shipping. Our books are very well
packed and protected to prevent shipping damage.
Shipping terms
Domestic USA (NOT including Hawaii or Alaska) shipping rates are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. Orders shipped to Hawaii or Alaska require additional postage. International shipping requires additional postage based upon weight and destination. If your book order is heavy or over-sized, we may contact you to advise that extra shipping costs may be required.
