Set of Two (2) Signed First Editions. The first woman to run for president from a major party. A President Hillary Clinton would have been the first woman to hold the office and the first husband and then wife to have been President of the United States. Each volume Signed by author Hillary Clinton (Hillary) or Bill Clinton, (Bill Clinton) directly to title page. No inscriptions. Seller personally met Hillary Clinton to obtain her signature. and when saying to her, "Hillary, you are a winner".she, very surprised, replied, " Well, thank you so much, Sir". That did not actually come to be, even though she won the popular vote by 2.5 million votes. My Life is a True First State copy: has the typo in last sentence of the 'Acknowledgements' section, page iv: "for the failure of my life" rather than failures. Stated: First Edition. Both Dust Jackets are not price clipped and are Brodart protected. Cloth. My Life is dark blue; embossed front board; gilt titling on spine. Unmarked. Hard Choices is three-quarter binding with oatmeal and black with gilt spine titling. Both volumes are as new, signed (directly to title page without inscription) and are rare pieces of history. No flaws. Collectible and/or gift quality.
