Book clean and tight otherwise. Signed on front free endpaper, 'Sincerely/ MB Tolson'. Rubber stamp on front pastedown reads: 'Please Return to/Bellmon Library?Biullings OK 74360'. Laid in is a typed & signed letter from William H. Hale, President of Langston University in Oklahoma dated April 20, 1965 to then Governor of Oklahoma Henry Bellmon, offering the book as a gift. The letter edges are age-toned and chipped, but essentially intact. The jacket has light edgewear with a short tear to the top front edge, and the spine is sun faded. Jacket in protective cover.
