Signed first edition. Borley Rectory was long considered "The Most Haunted House in Britain". Written by the Rector of Borley cum Liston, Essex, with a foreword by Elizabeth Goudge. Mr Henning records some of the unexplained antics of the poltergeist and reveals strange experiences that have come to him and others, as well as telling a history of the church and of the Waldegrave family. He also states: "In view of the publicity recently given to Borley, the author has thought it wiser to change some of the names in this book." Author's signature to verso of the front cover. Pp.56, 7 black & white photos, list of Rectors of Borley to end, rusting to staples. Grey covers, slightly soiled, with woodcut illustration to front . Scarce. Everything has been described as accurately as possible. All books have been collated and checked and any defects are defined. However should you be dissatisfied with any item you may return it within 10 days for a full refund.
PAYMENT
We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, Switch or Maestro. If you wish to pay by cheque, the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.
POSTAGE
Postage and insurance will be at cost and will be added to the invoice.
INSPECTION
We understand that customers may wish to inspect items before purchasing. This may be done at our Bookroom at a mutually convenient time. However, may we also emphasise; that in the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with you purchase (for any reason what so ever), you may return the book(s)immediately for a full refund of the list price. We only ask you to notify us of your intentions within two days of receipt.
