About this Item

From the estate of Norman Hazell. Norman Hazell was a notable figure in local politics, serving as a councillor for Wakefield South and leading the Tory opposition group for eight years. He also ran for Parliamentary seats in Wakefield and Hemsworth during the 1980s and 1996, respectively. After leaving the Tory party in 2001, he continued as an independent councillor until 2006 and was awarded the MBE in 1988 for his community service. In his personal life, he enjoyed collecting books and corresponding with authors to obtain signed labels, along with related newspaper articles. Pasted on the endpapers is a letter signed by Heath on House of Commons paper and the accompanying envelope Signed by Heath on the title page. The book is tightly bound, top edge greyed.The text block is clean, free of markings and foxing. The dust jacket is complete with minor shelf wear: unclipped showing �2.25.

We tend to use Royal Mail as our preferred supplier and our rates are based upon 2nd class signed for prices. Orders above �100 will be dispatched using the next day delivery and these prices tend to be twice the price of standard prices.
We do not sell to France or Germany as their regulations do not make it economic to trade with these countries.
