Signed and inscribed by Renwick on front free endpaper: "To Mrs. Eugene C. Cramer from her affectionate friend. Mrs. Helen Goodwin Renwick. Easter 1929." Renwick (March 2, 1845 - July 25, 1930). Philanthropist who supported Claremont Colleges and other local charities.
